Well, we made quite a trek on this day! We walked all around the Tidal Basin. It doesn't look that big in this picture, but it's a LONG way!!
But we headed out on the west side at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial. It is such a pretty memorial.
It covers 7 1/2 acres and is the largest Memorial on the Mall.
There is a great view of the Washington Monument from this side of the Tidal Basin.
Then on the other side is the Jefferson Memorial.
We continued around, walked by the Washington Monument...
Made a "little" detour to see the White House...
Grabbed a hot dog snack at one of the street vendors...
and finished up at the WWII Memorial.
What a day!!!
