Shenandoah National Park

Having taken a weekend off to go to Tahoe, we are back in Virginia and trying to explore our new surroundings each weekend. On Saturday, 9/18, we travelled down beautiful Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park. Skyline Drive rides the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains for 105 miles through Shenandoah National Park, and joins the Blue Ridge Parkway which connects Shenandoah to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, NC. We were able to take this drive just as the trees were coming into color. It was a beautiful day. Look for your self.
